I really, really enjoy your posts. The weather isn't something that is easy to predict. This winter was a bad one for even the NWS to predict.

Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your outlooks, and look forward to your posts this summer. Hopefully we have some good storms this summer. I live in Parkersburg, WV and was outside for the derecho this summer. While I dont want another one any time soon, I would like some nice thunder and lightning.

Thanks for your time and effort you put in to this Andrew.

TylerAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1448180228140749967.post-67650307348908110672013-02-11T15:44:42.863-06:002013-02-11T15:44:42.863-06:00Everybodys winter forecast failed the last 3 years...Everybodys winter forecast failed the last 3 years! I expect mother nature will compensate us in the next few years. The U.S. has kinda gotten a break the last few years but that has also put us in a drought situation. So hopefully things will turn around if condition's warrant.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1448180228140749967.post-45288551209736528332013-02-11T09:57:37.968-06:002013-02-11T09:57:37.968-06:00I love this site! The problem is our earth is warming, no doubts about it. 1986 is the last time we had an below average winter in Minneapolis in terms of temp. I'm a firm believer that nature has its own ways to level the playing field. Maybe a major eruption to send us into a Volcanic Winter will be one of them. Regardless, I don't expect to see any decent winters for the Upper Mid-West in the next few years without a drastic happening.
