There is a broad area of low pressure to the west of lower Mexico at this time.
Conditions are favorable for this system to continue and organize itself. The Weather Centre predicts that this system will organize better and eventually turn into a tropical system.
However, with the remnants of Arlene in the Atlantic, there was the issue of cold water temperatures up north. Should that be true, the life span of this system would be severely affected.
At this time, it does appear temperatures up north by Baja California area are around 60-75 degrees. I do expect this to affect the storm system in one way or another.
