The Weather Centre's Tornado Warning system

As you read this post, a line of text is sliding across the page above.
That is our new Tornado Warning system.
Whenever we identify tornado warnings and post them on our blog, we will also put that information on the text line above in a red background to be noticeable.

Please remember that that system is manually updated. We will not be able to post every tornado warning, and we do apologize.

However, we do find this the turning point in our tornado warnings issued.

June 16- Morning Tropical Discussion- East Pacific ocean (30% chance of development)

There is a 30% chance for tropical cyclone development in the East Pacific Ocean over the next 48 hours.

There is a 30% chance for tropical cyclone development in the East Pacific over the next 48 hours as a large surface trough from a low pressure system produces somewhat limited shower and t-storm activity. However, environmental conditions are conductive for gradual development of this system.

We do not have access to models at this time.
However, it does appear the system is moving to the WNW.

June 15- Tornado Warning: East Jasper County, IN (Rural Area)

  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR HANGING GROVE...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

* THIS TORNADIC STORM WILL AFFECT MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EAST CENTRAL
  JASPER COUNTY.

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME...A VEHICLE OR
OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.

TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR CALUMET CITY...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
  EAST CHICAGO AROUND 640 PM CDT.
  GARY AROUND 655 PM CDT.
  OGDEN DUNES AROUND 715 PM CDT.
