A La Nina watch was issued by NOAA this year.
The Weather Centre has now issued its own La Nina Watch.
Reason: Out of four sectors in the El Nino/La Nina affecting area, three of those sectors are showing that El Nino has dissipated, while the 4th secotr displays that El Nino has recently dissipated.
Models show that the warmer waters of El Nino in the Pacific are cooling down.

A few spotty storms are in Florida. In the Southeast, some storms are becoming severe in Tennessee and Kentucky. In the Midwest, a moderate risk of storms are in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota. As you head to bed forecast
Good evening, this is Meteorologist Racki with your 'As You Head To Bed Forecast'.
Let's start with the East Coast, where we see some showers and a couple storms moving out over the oceans for a mostly clear night on the coast. Down in the South, we see a nice and clear night, excluding a small line in Texas where some showers are firing up but quickly moving north. In the Midwest, there are showers and thunderstorms, some severe, moving along Indiana and Kansas. These storms should weaken as they lose daytime heating. Finally, on the West Coast we look out to a clear night all around.

Good evening, I am Meteorologist Racki here with your 'As you head to bed Forecast'. In the East, the entire Eastern seaboard is nice and dry for a nice night. In the Southeast USA, a small storm is dissipating in central Florida, but all other areas in the region are dry. In the Midwest, some strong storms are moving through Michigan and South Indiana, but all else appears dry. In The Central West area, A large and possibly severe storm system is impacting the area, from Utah to Kansas and Nebraska. On the West Coast, some showers continue to lose steam. At 7:16am CDT, In South Kansas, strong thunderstorms are training (producing storms but not moving as a whole). The training storms are moving east while more storms are coming up in that training area. In North Oklahoma, these strong storms are crossing the border south into Oklahoma.

As you step out to work today, expect a slightly stormy central US, especially in the Missouri area. In The West, you will step out to some sunshine, but rain showers in the Northwest. At 9:54 pm CDT, a circle of showers and thunderstorms were rapidly moving northeast. This circle is indictive of a tight low pressure, which may be moving into the Canadian Terrirories.

A SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORY is now issued for Central Illinois.
At 9:46pm CDT, strong thunderstorms were rolling along the Central Illinois area to the east, with more storms continuing to flare up close to the main sector of intensity of storms.
Strong storms in East Central Missouri were also moving east into central Illinois at this time.
It is advised you take cover if you live in the following areas:
-Central Illinois
-East Central Missouri

Hello, I am Andrew, and here is tonight's forecast.
Tonight, we will see strong storms slowly progress east through the Midwest, bringing possibly severe storms from central illinois down into the heart of America, even touching Mexico.
Rain is currently exiting the Wisconsin area. All rain in Wisconsin will be out of that area by about 10pm, if not earlier.
A warm front is lifting northward, and will pass through the Lower Great Lakes, fending off the cool temperatures experienced there today.
A cold front behind it may introduce thunderstorms as well behind that warm front.
Have a good evening.
