StormTrack: July 11: Severe Storms in West Michigan (10:00 AM) (Special Weather Watch)

The line of thunderstorms that impacted Chicago this morning have moved across Lake Michigan and are now impacting North Indiana and West Michigan.

The Weather Centre Storm Team has issued a Special Weather Watch
for the following areas:

-North Indiana
-Southwest Michigan

At 10:00 AM...Strong and dangerous storms were moving east into the mentioned areas in the form of a derecho.
These storms have produced damage in North IL and Iowa.

People affected should immediately secure outdoor objects and make preparations for extremely strong winds and potential brief rain wrapped tornadoes.
