I'm seeing a snowstorm for the Northeast around the 12th or a bit later. Accumulations will be around 6-8 inches tops, depending on the rate of strengthening from the Atlantic. The NAO will be neutral, so a snowstorm is still on the table for the NE. Additionally, the polar vortex will be something to watch, whether good or bad.

Will this affect the midwest too?
Hello Andrew. First of all, where is this low going to form? Will it form in the southern plains or off the Atlantic coast? Also,do you see this affecting Ohio in any way.
What about Springfield, Il will we see any snow from this?
This is only for the Northeast.
The storm will be a cutoff low.
Hello Andrew.Do you really think Henry's the rest of the winter outlook will happen? This storm track, would definately produce heavy snow in my area in Ohio if it pans out.
Anything showing for the midwest?
Hi Andrew.I saw the article on the left side of the page.Do you think Ohio will get mostly rain for the rest of the winter?I'm kind of thinking this.
I doubt this storm or any other giant ones this winter. I give up on winter. ITs a bust.
Hey anonymous. You may be RIGHT,and you may be WRONG!Only time will tell.
Mike: I am liking Henry's forecast ad do not believe your winter will be entirely rainy.
Peterbilt5000: The rest of January will be interesting for the Midwest.
Anonymous: That is called 'bitter casting', which is saying something exaggeratively negative. I am confident that there will be a big winter storm this year. You can hold me to that.
Hi Andrew.According to the track of Henry's forecast,i would say this puts Ohio in a very snowy pattern.Do you think this is possible?
Mike: Yes.
When can Baltimore expect some decent snow? Later in January?
Yes.
Will Minnesota particular the southern half get any snow yet this winter? They said we were in the worst cold and snow but its not showing up yet
Anonymous: The pattern is changing. Have patience. ;)
