NORTHWEST OF IRELAND IN DUBOIS COUNTY. A WELL CONSTRUCTED 75 FT TALL
GRAIN SILO HAD THE TOP 40 FT PORTION SHEARED OFF. A 40 FT BY 50 FT
OUTBUILDING WAS DESTROYED IN THE VICINITY OF THE GRAIN SILO...WITH
SIDING BEING THROWN 400-500 YARDS DOWNWIND. ADDITIONALLY...STRAIGHT
LINE WIND DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED PRECEDING AND FOLLOWING THE TORNADO
PATH. THESE WINDS DESTROYED TWO HOG BUILDINGS AND CAUSED A GRAIN
SILO TO SHIFT ON IT/S FOUNDATION.
