Potential for Wintry Precipitation October 18

There is potential for a wintry precipitation area to overtake portions of the Midwest and Ohio Valley. The last couple GFS models have indicated the back of a low pressure system may pull some cold Canadian air into the region. On that same backside of the low, some precipitation may still be ongoing, and that precipitation may change to a rain/ice mix or even a few snow flurries. Below is the accumulation forecasts that are very much subject to change.
