August 12 Severe Weather Map

The Weather Centre has identified an area of high hail risk, another area of lesser hail risk, and a third area of general severe weather. Missouri and Kansas will have a high risk of damaging hail, some of it could become lift threatening. South Dakota, South Minnesota, and West Wisconsin will be in a heightened severe weather risk, however a lesser hail threat. In the green area, severe weather is possible, but with a lessened hail threat.

August 12 Atlantic Tropical Weather Discussion

As of this morning, we are looking at a back-up in the Atlantic Ocean. In those terms, it means we have 4- yes, FOUR- systems worth watching in the Atlantic Ocean, which makes my job very busy. Here's the satellite images of all of these systems.
I have noticed that 92L seems farther north than 93L, which could be signaling that 93L may surge towards the Gulf of Mexico and 92L could follow more of a TS Emily track.
I will not be showing models or anything else because A) There's 4 systems in the area, and B) Models are too far out to give a reasonable solution.
