A Special Weather Warning is in effect for the following states:

-Kentucky
-Tennessee
-North Carolina
-South Carolina
-Mississippi
-Alabama
-Georgia
-Louisiana
-Texas
-Florida

At 4:00pm CDT, very intense and severe thunderstorms were firing in every state, in popcorn style.

This warning will expire at 9:00pm CDT.

People in all these areas should prepare for intense, severe, storms and flooding.
