Hello Andrew.Does the NORTH CAMP mean that the storm would track in a northerly track, and the SOUTH CAMP mean that the storm would take the southern track,or the scenic route as the meteorologists always say in my area.
Hello Andrew.I figured that is what the north & south camp meant.Just checking.Could this storm possibly cause snow in my area if it took the southern route?

So you are saying that there could be two storms on the 20th? Would one severely effect northwest Indiana?
There will only be 1 storm.
I have only heard people say north camp and south camp one time a long time ago. What does it mean?
When will the nao turn negative and how long will it last

As of now, does it look like the SOUTH CAMP track is favored over the NORTH CAMP track? I understand that things can certainly change.
Could one of them severely affect northwest Indiana?
Where would the heaviest accumulations be if it took the south track?
The heaviest snowfall usually occurs 100 miles or so nortwest of the storm track. Is this correct?
Anonymous: The expected pattern change should bring the NAO down soon enough.
Mike: Yes on both comments.
AJ: It depends on warmer air.
Anonymous: Yes.
