Rumors of December 12th Indiana Snowstorm Not True

We have heard that some websites were mentioning the potential for a snowstorm on December 12th for Indiana. These are not true. Here's the forecast for December 12 from the 18z GFS.
Bottom Right image is Precipitation.
Top Right image is lows and highs (red line is rain/snow line)
Bottom left image is relative humidities (green means precipitation)
Top Left image is vorticity (red is typical area for low pressures)
As you can see, there is no snow forecasted for Indiana on December 12.
We find it hard to believe that weather enthusiasts would think that there would be a snowstorm on the 12th. We are more inclined to believe that they are referring to the possible December 15-17 Ohio Valley snowstorm. A discussion on this will be issued.

It is possible they were referring to this because I looked up the weather 20 miles apart until I stopped seeing snow in the forecast. It stopped in central Ohio. Both Accuweather and weather.com showed it.I wished weather.gov would of had the DEC 12 forecast out.

OH! I forgot to ask if this could possibly effect northwest Indiana.

Sorry I posted the second comment before I saw the Ohio valley discussion. But, I don't know if you can answer this but what part of Indiana do you think it would hit.Would it hit NW Indiana?

Possibly, but not for sure.

I also have to say could it stretch further west than northwest Indiana because accuweather said it could stretch as far west as central Illinois. This is a hrder question because it is so far away.
