What Would You Like to Happen If We Reach 1 Million Page Views Before January 1 2013?

Comment on this post with your answer.

What would you like to happen if we reach 1 million page views before January 1, 2013?

1. Updated 2012-2013 Winter Forecast
2. Personalized Winter Forecasts (Probably will happen either way)
3. Early Spring 2013 Forecast
4. Very Preliminary 2013-2014 Winter Forecasts

As ridiculous as Option 4 sounds, I know some people would like to see winter forecasts as far out as 2020.

I am trying to make this into a poll on the sidebar, but as of now it's not working, so this is how I will run the vote for now.

I think it might be cool to give a winter forecast for June-Sept 2012 for the South America, specifically the Andes region from Santiago, Chile/Mendoza, Argentina south to Tierra del Fuego. After all, you're right that a North America Winter forecast for 2013-1014 is a bit too far off. The added bonus of an austral winter forecast is that you get to predict the OTHER half of the effect of ENSO and the AAO on temperate regions that we don't normally consider. It might be interesting to predict the effect of (by then) a waning El Nino on rainfall/snowfall in the Santiago region and south. That should hold over everyone until North American winter gets closer and better predictions are possible.

My two cents.

p.s. I don't live in South America, I just think this might cool to connect autral winter weather paters to North AMerican summer and use that as a forecast for NH winter going foreward.

I like personal winter fcsts, but 2013-2014 winter fcst is good too. I and a friend did one out to 2014-2015 too, but I am not aloud to say anything other than OH Valley for 2013-2014.

I would very much like to see an updated 2012-2013 winter forecast. If it's is late (Past August) in the year, I would rather see a 2013-2014 Winter forecast or 2013 summer forecast!

Won't you be updating the forecast in the fall anyway? I vote for personalized forecasts. Anyway, I'm still excited about this winter! Still looking good for southern Michigan...
