Danville VA please?
Didn't see these until today, would not mind it if you could do one.
But if you do not that is ok.
Thank you from Johnson City, TN and all the work you put into this blog!!
Scott
I was going through old memories, and I remembered your brief stint on wordpress. I checked that page out, and your last post on there was exactly two years ago! What a coincidence :). It's hard to believe I've followed your blog so religiously over the past 2.5 years or so... if not more. Keep up the great work Andrew!
What about Rochester, NY? Thanks!
I know it has been said before, but I shall say it again: This blog is great, yes, but there's one lurking issue that I think prevents it from getting higher view counts/people counts. It's the social aspect. Andrew is a genius, however he is also an outcast. It's so hard to have conversations with him or any other viewers to be honest. If I post a comment (which I did to this post a couple of days ago) I literally have to wait a day or more before it's posted. I do remember the great trolling incidents of the past, but the past is the past. I don't think people like the whole comment removing system, as it removes an entire layer of social aspect in the blog. I can't chat with fellow viewers. The only thing a commenter can do is talk to you Andrew, and even so you it's difficult to expect an answer. There are some solutions I can think of, though:
1) Looser comment moderation. Remove the whole comment approval system, and just delete offensive comments. I'm sure it's tedious and boring for you to approve every comment you see, and this would eliminate that. Most people don't post offensive comments, and if you did happen to see one just remove it immediately. This would make it easier to have discussions
2) Keep the comments of the same format, and make a separate chat place. There we could chat and stuff and have more interaction, and you could still prevent certain words/phrases from being said without even touching it.
In conclusion, it's easy and smart to free up the interaction system on here. Currently, no interactions between other people can be made. If you implement one or both of the systems I proposed, I think you'd find that the overall happiness of a majority of the people would increase and you'd probably get more viewers along the way :). Please consider these. You'd only be helping yourself :D. Thanks
It looks like the forecast for Okla this winter went to firecracker. I'm ok with that but don't want a firecracker Summer in 2015.its disappointing that the pdo thing is going away. From a non-sceintist, weather junkie perspective that seemed to impact Our weather more than anything from Feb 2013 forward. 2 great Summers and one frigid Winter. But its clear something has changed here since August.
